Mobile Wallet

Mobile Wallet uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code. Your card number is never stored on your device or on Apple servers, and when you pay, your card numbers are never shared with merchants. Plus, enjoy the same security features provided when using your BankGloucester MasterCard®.

How to Set up Apple Pay

  1. iPhone 6, 6 Plus, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 users: Click on the Passbook app (iPad Air 2 or iPad mini 3, go to Settings > Passbook & Apple Pay). Select Add Debit or Credit Card (make sure your device is running iOS 8.1 or higher). Apple Watch (when paired with iPhone 5®, 5C® or 5S®): Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone 5, 5s or 5c running iOS 8.2 or higher.
  2. If you already have a BankGloucester MasterCard® on file with iTunes®, you have the option to use it as your default account for Apple Pay. You can do this by entering the security code on the back of your debit card.
  3. To add a new debit card to Apple Pay, use your device's camera to enter your debit card information. Apple Pay will perform a simple validation with BankGloucester before the debit card is ready to use.

Google Pay™

How to Set Up Google Pay

  1. In the Google Pay app on your device, touch the + sign to add a credit or debit card to pay with your device.
  2. Position your card in the camera frame to automatically enter your card information. Enter the security code found on your BankGloucester MasterCard® and provide additional information as required.
  3. Accept the terms of service and set your screen lock. (Activating Device Administrator is part of the Google Pay setup process.)
  4. As a security measure, you will receive a “verification required” message when adding your card to Samsung Pay and need to call us at 978-283-8200 to verify. Once verified, an on-screen message will appear stating that the card is ready for use. This verification is part of our multi-layered approach to security in payments.
  5. If you’ve already added other cards to Google Pay, set your BankGloucester MasterCard® as your default. You can do this in Google Settings or by clicking your BankGloucester MasterCard® within the Google Pay app.
